ad astra per aspera - to the stars through hardships

Through 'per aspera,' I aim to illustrate and narrate the inner conflict that may arise when reaching for the stars, for one’s dreams, or deciding whether or not to pursue them at all. The player will become a ‘dreamer,’ a star floating through space. Initially, the dreamer is disappointed in their lack of discipline, believing that they are the sole source of their own mediocrity. Throughout the course of the day, the dreamer takes a trip to the clouds, where they reach an understanding of what it means to dream, learning that they are enough for their dreams.

I really like the aesthetic, the text was really relatable... couldn't figure out how the controls worked though, are you supposed to drag the lil star or use the arrow keys or click on where you want to go?

Thank you so much for your feedback! The story and visuals were what I focused on most, so I'm glad to hear that those resonate with you. I realize that the user interactivity could use some of this focus as well! To navigate through the game world and read the dialogue, just use the arrow keys. There will usually be a flashing arrow or some other graphical icon indicating where to move to.
